The Brain Banquet, hosted in a long-forgotten World War II bunker is described as a ‘feast for all the senses’. The five-course banquet forms part of a host of installations, clinics and scientists and all based around the common theme of understanding how your brain works in order to alter and expand upon the edible experience.
The banquet itself designed by Blanch and Shock has been put together with the help of neuroscientists and will be accompanied by discussions with leading neurologists and visual illusions from a live magician to tempt the taste buds and feed the mind.
It sounds like an evening of Heston Blumenthal meets Derren Brown – so, if a combination of those two chaps tickles your fancy then you may want to book yourself tickets.
The event is running from the 13th-15th March at the Dlaston Bunker, tickets are £45.
